It is not advisable to drive with the spare tire for long periods, as it is labeled as a “temporary tire”. It is designed to get you to us as soon as you can, without exceeding speeds over 80km/h.

What is Ethenol?

Ethanol is made by fermenting and then distilling starch and sugar crops such as maize, sorghum, potatoes, wheat, sugar-cane, fruit and vegetable waste. The addition of ethanol increases the oxygen content in petroleum. It is sometimes referred to as 'Oxygenated Fuel'. Ethanol also raises the octane rating of fuel.

I find that in winter, the original all-season tires do not provide enough traction. Can I put snow tires on just the front wheels?

No. If you live in an area or drive in conditions that require tires with better traction, you should consider installing winter tires, but you must install them on all 4 wheels, not just the drive wheels. Be sure to use tires that are the same size as originally specified for your Hyundai.

How can I find out if my Hyundai has an oustanding recall?

Be sure to contact our Service Department at 1-866-407-5942 so that we can verify any outstanding recalls or campaigns.

After an inspection of your vehicle, one of our Hyundai trained technicians will determine if the problem is due to a manufacturer defect and will replace or repair your vehicle under warranty.

Does my vehicle have a timing belt or timing chain?

Depending on the year and model of your vehicle it can vary. Most newer vehicles are equipped with a chain. Speak to one of our Concierge Team associates to help you in determining that information.
