History of Ajax Hyundai

The dealership was purchased by Drive Auto Group in 2016 and rebranded Ajax Hyundai.

With the launch of Hyundai’s luxury brand, Genesis, the same year we became one of the first in the Greater Toronto Area to carry these brand-new vehicles. We are still the only Genesis Dealership between Scarborough and Ottawa.

We've since gone through a full renonvation, including adding a drive through service centre, to serve you better.

Town of Ajax

The Town of Ajax predates the surrounding area of Pickering by almost twenty years. In 1954 the Ontario Municipal Board declared Ajax a town. When the Regional Municipality of Durham Region was formed in 1974 the Town of Ajax agreed to be a part.

Located just East of Toronto on the 401 the city has thrived. Some of Ajax’s more well-known attractions include the Ajax Downs Casino, Greenwood Conservation Area and Pickering Villiage. Visitors can also take advantage of seasonal offerings like Summer In The Square and Winterfest.

Community Involvement

Along with providing transparent, reliable service our team also takes pride in supporting the communities of Ajax and Pickering. We’re currently one of the sponsors for the Durham Rebels Volleyball Club and helped put on both Ajax’s Family Fun Fest and the Rotary Club of Ajax’s Polar Plunge.

In the past, we have also served as a drop-off location for CTV’s Toy Mountain, a staple of Christmas in Toronto and the Durham Region.
